VTDOC seeks a provider to deliver a range of individualized and group services which include manualized skill development in graduated intensiveness to incarcerated women. The VTDOC will base this program on evidenced based strategies employing targeted interventions based upon the risk, need, responsivity, dosage and treatment principles.

This is for the purpose of providing services to reduce criminogenic needs with a focus on substance abuse. Services may include assessment, individual and group services. Although the services are provided in a correctional setting the level of care is more reminiscent of outpatient services as opposed to residential services. Curricula and assessment instruments must be pre-approved by the Department of Corrections.

Request for Proposal Leadership and Investigative Development to Promote Victim Safety
The Vermont Department of Corrections is seeking proposals to provide for the ongoing development of Vermont's response to prison sexual abuse, training of facility management teams, victim/perpetrator assessments, and sexual misconduct investigative protocol. Vermont has progressed in instituting training curriculum and development, response protocol, investigation techniques, and promoting a positive facility culture. The Department is working to incorporate the necessary protocols to maintain compliance with the Federal PREA Standards.
